It is time for Monday Magic, where we kick off our week with big inspiration and bright ideas.
Today, our StoryBeam is shining a light inside a cozy bakery as we read The Smart Cookie by Jory John.
This cookie lives in a bakery with lots of smart pastries, but sometimes she doesn't feel like a smart cookie.
She really doesn't.
She struggles with tests and quick math, feeling like she doesn't fit in.
But when her teacher gives the class a special creative assignment, she discovers that being smart isn't just about speed or test scores.
It's about finding your own unique spark.

Co-host, what is a special spark that makes you feel clever and creative?
It's fairy gardens.
Because fairy gardens are very fun to make.
And I think the fairy would really want to stay in my house.
Because it has lots of pretty decorations that I'm planning to work on.
And I would get a little door and it would be so beautiful.
The fairy would be sleeping in a royal castle bed.
That is definitely a wonderful kind of smart.
It's very creative.
And very much you.
